Merry Christmas to everyone.  If you don't celebrate Christmas, have a Happy day off of work or Winter break away from school.   I refuse to say "Happy Holidays," because if you don't celebrate Christmas or New Years, then they aren't really "Holy Days" (hence the word holiday).  If you are offended by this, then I am sorry.

A sincere apology to anyone who are unable to have a Merry Christmas due to previous tragedies.  May God comfort you in your grief.  If you are mourning and you do not believe in God, I hope you have a friend's shoulder to lean on.

P.S. Regarding the importance of knowing what you're talking about before you go out and say something- yours truly forgets that suggestion sometimes.
